In the 'present', the ABC Warriors search the Martian city of Marineris for Ro-Jaws, who is about to be arrested for covering a wall with graffiti. In the 'past', Howard Quartz is released from prison, severely damaged by the torture he has undergone. Miss Marilyn tells him that the public has turned against him and is boycotting his products. Quartz blames all his misfortunes on Ro-Jaws and Hammerstein, vowing to catch up with them one day.
