Notes
Edit
Battler first appeared in 'Sun' in 1956, but went on to feature in a number of IPC titles well into the 1970s, notably 'Air ace Picture Library'. The IPC characters were eventually bought by Warner Bros., and Battler subsequently resurfaced in 2006 in five issue limited series by Garth Ennis and Colin Wilson, published in the United States by Wildstorm, an imprint of DC Comics.
