In 2007, Panini UK began publishing a series of collected editions reprinting Captain Britain's earliest British published appearances. Five volumes have been published which cover, in sequence, every appearance the character made in a British publication between his debut in October 1976 and the cancellation of Captain Britain Monthly in 1986 (see Captain Britain (Comics)), as well as his first American published appearance from Marvel Team-Up #65-66. They are, in sequence : Birth of a Legend; A Hero Reborn; The Lion and the Spider; The Siege of Camelot and End Game. Later, the contents of the first two were reprinted for the American market as a hardcover version of Birth of a Legend, and the remaining material up to the end of the story originally published in Hulk Comic was reprinted for the same market as a hardcover entitled The Siege of Camelot (all the later material had already been published in the US in the Captain Britain Omnibus). There were also two American produced trade paperbacks, the first in 1988 (reprinting the Alan Davis/Jamie Delano stories) and the second in 2002 (reprinting the Alan Moore/Alan Davis stories).
