The Southers (short for 'Southern Cross Confederacy') were the faction opposed to the Norts on Nu-Earth. The long and bloody battle between the two sides turned the planet into a poisoned wasteland which only the Genetic Infantrymen created by Milli-Com (Souther high command) could survive without chem-suits.
