History[]

Clive is a character from the 2000 AD strip Survival Geeks. He gave his house the ability to travel through different dimensions but didn't seem to care that this effectively involved kidnapping his two housemates, Simon and Rufus, and a girl named Sam who had been sharing Simon's bed the previous night. On the plus side, his knowledge of RPGs was essential in defeating the Dark Lord the four encountered in their first adventure, who was actually a game designer called Kevin.

Clive and his companions traversed the multiverse for months, with Clive apparently unable or unwilling to return the house to Earth. At one stage he met his female doppelgänger, Clara, and was embarrassed to discover that her technological abilities vastly exceeded his own — a fact that he tried to conceal during their brainstorming sessions.

Upon returning home, Clive started up his own tech company and became a billionaire.
