Eternicus was an apparently in some way alive and potentially sentient piece of technology, an alien artifact in the shape of a metal gauntlet, which had incredible destructive capability. It was acquired by Dan Dare and worn by him during the period in which the Mekon had made him a fugitive from the Galactic authorities.
