Synopsis for "The Arts in Space (part one)"

The Doctor decides to broaden Gabby's mind with a visit to an old friend, Zhe Ikiyuyu. Not only is the four-armed Zhe a celebrated artist in the medium of block transfer computation (cf the television story Logopolis), she also hosted the most amazing parties. But while Gabby finds her first experience of an alien world utterly awe-inspiring, something appears to have gone seriously wrong on Zhe's private moon since the Doctor's last visit. Will Gabby live long enough to show her friend Cindy the diary she's keeping of her adventures in time and space? And who are the mysterious apprentices?
