Donald Eric Harley (born in London in 1927, died January 2021) was a comics artist best known for his work on Dan Dare as part of Frank Hampson's studio in the 1950's. He continued to work on the strip for a time after the studio was disbanded in 1959, leaving it in 1962. He later worked on Countdown/TV Action in the early 1970's and on various nursery comics in the 1980's. In the early 2000's, he returned to drawing Dan Dare for the semi-professional magazine Spaceship Away.
