Rollo Stones and Danny Charters were the Legend Testers, employed by the Museum of Legend & Myth in the 40th Century to test artifacts in order to find out whether the legends surrounding them were real, by travelling back through time (if an artifact was not genuine, the time travel process wouldn't work). Rollo and Danny's adventures were crafted for Odhams's Smash! comic by Keith Chapman. One of The Legend Testers' adventures, 'The Metal Men', was reprinted in its entirety in the 1980 Starlord Annual, and Rollo and Danny also resurfaced (albeit unnamed) in Leah Moore and John Reppion's Albion series in 2005.
