Gerald G. Swan published a wide range of material, ranging from westerns and horror comics, though to the more traditional story papers, while other publishers were scaling back their output during World War Two. Employing numerous writers and artists from better established companies (including Bob Monkhouse), the overall quality of the finished material was nevertheless poorer than their competitors.
