Gordon Rennie is a Scottish comics writer who entered the industry writing Sherlock Holmes in the Curious Case of the Vanishing Villain and White Trash for Blast! in 1991. He has since written extensively for 2000 AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine on strips including:

Rennie has also written for various small press and independent publishers in both Britain and the US (on projects like Robbie Burns: Witch Hunter), and for Warhammer, as well as writing novels based on 2000 AD characters. In May 2008 he announced that he was quitting comics to concentrate on video games which, he said, "are more fun, pay better, and have a brighter future." However, he has since returned to 2000 AD. In 2016, he began writing for Titan Comics' Doctor Who line with Doctor Who: The Fourth Doctor.
