'I Was Adolf's Double' was a multi-part cartoon strip by Tim Quinn and Dicky Howett told over fourteen issues of Marvel UK's Forces in Combat title (each instalment was a single page) and later reprinted in the 1983 special Channel 33 1/3. It told the story ofhapless gardener Winston S Quaill, who was mistaken for his double, Adolf Hitler. The story ended with the real Hitler crash landing a Bomber loaded up with bathroom fittings into Winston's mum's garden.
