History[]
Half man, half frog (origins unknown) Josiah W. Dogbolter is the head of Intra-Venus, Inc. He owned the planets Mars, Venus and Celeste (among others) and was a ruthless businessman obsessed with only one thing: making more and more money! Aided by his robotic assistant, Hob, he repeatedly attempted to gain possession of the TARDIS belonging to the wandering Time Lord known as The Doctor, on the basis that "time is money". His first attempt involved hiring a mercenary called The Moderator but when the man failed in his commission, Dogbolter had him killed (though not before the Moderator had murdered the Doctor's companion Gus Goodman). On one occasion, he hired the shape changer named Frobisher to carry out his ends but was betrayed by him; on another, he hired the mechanoid bounty hunter Death's Head, but was almost killed when his own attempt to betray Death's Head and kill both him and the Doctor resulted in his being caught in his own bomb blast. Decades later, on his 500th birthday, Dogbolter tried for revenge on the Doctor again and was finally jailed for his crimes.
Josiah's daughter Berakka Dogbolter has since continued his proud family tradition of being a total scumbag.
