Lolly Pop was a series which ran in IPC comic titles including Shiver and Shake and Whoopee! in the 1970's and 1980's, and revolved around the often antagonistic relationship between Pop (a miserly multi-millionaire) and Archie (his downtrodden son). Typically, strips would end with Archie getting the better of Pop in a way which caused Pop to lose money.
