HistoryEdit

Micky Swift, AKA Swifty, was a typical twenty-something inhabitant of Thatcher's Britain. He was unemployed (and probably unemployable), cynical and largely only interested in collecting his giro and having a few laughs with his mate Clinton, until he discovered the Timeways and was hurled against his will into a succession of strange adventures in times and places which couldn't possibly exist, along the way becoming an unlikely politician and possibly the saviour of the human race. Not that anybody appreciated it.

Swifty was the lead character in the series Sooner or Later and its sequel, Swifty's Return.
