'Shaky Kane' is an alias of the British comics writer and artist Michael Coulthard, who also goes by the name of 'Shaky 2000'. He wrote and drew the series Soul Gun Warrior and its sequel, Soul Gun Assassin, for 2000 AD. His other work for the comic includes Tharg's Terror Tales, Tharg's Future Shocks and Vector 13 (as writer). For the Judge Dredd Megazine he worked on Soul Sisters and he has drawn Judge Dredd and Judge Planet for the Judge Dredd Mega Special and Mytek the Mighty in the 2000 AD Action Special. Coulthard's work is distinguishable by its Kirbyesque style and has also been seen in Pssst!, Escape, Deadline, Revolver and A1. His website is here.
