Shockwave is a character from the 2000 AD strip Zenith. She was a clone of the former superhero Voltage (Ruby Fox), grown from cell samples taken from Fox without her consent by her creator, Dr Michael Peyne, in 1970. Shockwave was eventually attacked and apparently absorbed or disintegrated by Fox (who stated "You've got my DNA, Shockwave. I want it back") after Fox had begun to evolve into one of the multipotent Lloigor.
