Shok Head Red is a character from the 2000 AD strip Sláine. He was a circus performer at Ukko's circus and one of the star attractions. What he did exactly other than stand there looking creepy however, is never exactly said. At one point it's hinted that Red may have been responsible for the attempt on Skathan's life, but it turns out to be a red herring. By the end of the story Red manages to have contributed nothing whatsoever to the plot other than looking cool.
