Solo was a short lived title (just 31 weekly issues) published by City Magazines in 1967. It contained a variety of licensed strips, mostly TV related, though there was also a fair bit of Disney content, including a strip adaptation of their version of Mary Poppins, as well as Supergoof and Uncle Scrooge. Other strips included The Man from U.N.C.L.E, The Scarecrow and original strip Sgt. Bilko (by Tom Kerr) based, of course, on the American TV show. A confused mish-mash of material not clearly aimed at any particular audience, the title quickly failed and was absorbed into the pages of TV Tornado.
