The Spider-Man Pocket Book, launched in March 1980 as part of the new line of Marvel UK Pocket Books, was a 52-page monthly digest title starring (obviously) Spider-Man (Peter Parker)...and, for some reason, the odd Ka-Zar the Savage solo story. Initially featuring reprints of stories from the American Marvel Team-Up title (see also Marvel Team-Up, for the British version, and Spider-Man: Marvel Team-Up Vol 1 1) it switched fairly quickly to reprints of Spidey solo stories from the 1960s. These remained in place until the end of its 28-issue run (July or August 1982) before continuing as a back-up feature in the new monthly, The Daredevils.
