Brown Watson published this short lived series of annuals in 1974-1978. All strips were reprinted from American DC Comics starring Superman, Batman and Robin, though the books also included a number of British originated text stories with some quite moody and evocative but sadly uncredited art (though at least some of the art was almost certainly by John Bolton, notably the Hawkman/Hawkgirl image shown here). There were also features including a superhero general knowledge quiz in the 1977 annual, notable for the artistic licence used on certain characters costumes in the illustrations.
