Peter Sellers by Wakefield

Terry Wakefield (1911-1989) was a British comics artist (the son of G.W Wakefield, also an artist) who was best known for his work on the 'Laurel & Hardy' strip in Film Fun, which he drew from 1946-1957 (he had previously helped out his father on the strip, which Billy had originated in 1930) as well as work for Tip Top, Joker, Butterfly and Tiny Tots. Other work for Film Fun included strips based on Tony Hancock, George Formby, Peter Sellers, Red Skelton and Terry Thomas. He later drew a strip for the Morecambe & Wise Special in 1977.
