The Spiral Path was a fantasy strip by writer Steve Parkhouse and artist John Bolton, which first saw print in Warrior magazine in 1982. Set in the wartorn land of Tairngir, it's a rambling epic which frequently seems to change direction without ever really deciding where it's going. The principal character, Caed, begins life as a crow before being transformed into a human being by an unnamed druid, who subsequently dies, leaving Caed to travel for a time with his daughter, Bethbara. Ultimately, Caed and Bethbara end up on seemingly opposing sides but the next arc of the story, tentatively entitled The Silver Circle, never saw print. The series was reprinted in the United States in 1986 by Eclipse Comics as a two-issue limited series.
